The Saint-Marcellin Vercors Isère Tourist Office is a public industrial and commercial establishment (EPIC) with mixed governance. Its management committee is the decision-making body: it defines strategic directions, approves actions undertaken, and ensures communication between local authorities and tourism professionals. This approach is based on consultation, transparency, and co-creation with stakeholders in the region.

📌 REMEMBER

F.A.Q

What is an EPIC?

An EPIC (Établissement Public Industriel et Commercial) is an autonomous public entity that carries out commercial activities. This allows the Tourist Office to manage its own revenue (tourist tax, sales, etc.) while remaining linked to local authorities.

How are the committee members appointed?

The elected representatives are appointed by the Saint-Marcellin Vercors Isère Communauté intermunicipal authority. The socio-professional representatives are appointed based on their representation of the local tourism sector. Their term of office is linked to the current term of office of the intermunicipal authority.

How many times a year does the committee meet?

The management committee meets several times a year (usually 3 to 5 times) as needed: budget vote, budget orientation debate, validation of the activity report, ad hoc strategic decisions.

Are all the deliberations public?

Yes. In accordance with local government regulations, all minutes of the management committee meetings are public and available for consultation. You can download them above, sorted by year.

How do I suggest a topic or bring an idea to the committee's attention?

Socio-professional partners can raise their issues through their representatives on the committee or directly with the OT team. The "Pro Moments" sessions are also an opportunity to share your concerns and ideas.
