Our story: a Tourist Office born from a federated territory

The Saint-Marcellin Vercors Isère Tourist Office was founded on 26th January 2017, within the framework of the NOTRe law. It resulted from the merger of four former Tourist Offices: Saint-Marcellin, Pont-en-Royans, Saint-Antoine-l'Abbaye and Vinay.

This merger has made it possible to unite a rich and diverse territory, between the Vercors regional natural park, the Isère Valley, the Chambaran forest and the gateways to the Drôme.

Today, the OT covers 47 Commons and works closely with Saint-Marcellin Vercors Isère Communitywhich sets its major strategic directions.

💡 Tips As an EPIC (Public Industrial and Commercial Establishment), the Tourist Office has management autonomy while remaining at the service of the general interest. This legal structure allows it to carry out both public service missions and commercial activities (shop, ticket office, services).
