On the program: farmers' market, chef demonstrations, tastings, nut-cracking competition, educational mini-farm, wooden games, parade of brotherhoods… A day to take the time to taste, to meet, to pass on knowledge.

The Saint-Marcellin IGP and Grenoble Walnut AOP Festival returns in 2026 for a festive, authentic, and delicious Sunday. Following the success of its 2025 edition in Vinay, the festival will head to Saint-Marcellin, to the Champ de Mars, to celebrate two iconic products of our region: Saint-Marcellin IGP, a cheese with character, and Grenoble Walnut AOP, a treasure of the Dauphiné.

This year, the festival takes on a new dimension with an educational space entirely dedicated to Saint-Marcellin PGI and PDO walnutsUnder the big top, young and old are invited to discover all the production stages of the two sectors.

From raising livestock to cheese ripening, from walnut orchards to the walnut harvest: this immersive journey recounts the actions, tools, and trades that form the soul of our region. An exhibition of antique and contemporary objects completes the experience.
