Museum Overview

At Gorgonnet, the Drevenne has dug an impressive canyon. The view is particularly remarkable from the corbelled path which overlooks it. You will discover the village of Rovon and the old cannon foundry at the port of Saint-Gervais.

Departure from the Port of St-Gervais from the car park on the banks of the Isère. Cross the national road towards the medieval village of Rovon; visit the Renaissance church and orientation table not to be missed. Take the direction of Les Buissières with its medieval dry stone enclosures. Join the Natura 2000 site of Gorgonnet and follow the corbelled path to the Passerelle de la Gaffe, a peaceful place, ideal for a moment of contemplation or a snack break by the stream. Cross the footbridge and join Le Moléron, then the Drevenne bridge. Return to the Port of Saint-Gervais via Chamounier and Le Biot. Not to be missed, the old royal cannon foundry.
