La Sône, a village along the water

It is the Sona River, a tributary of the Isère, which gave its name to this charming village containing more than 2000 years of history. In Roman times, a bridge crossed the Isère.
Later, a fortified village was built. The feudal castle was erected atop the rocky spur overlooking the river.
