Come (re)discover these years that we call the “Thirty Glorious Years” and question yourselves about their legacy.

From the 1950s onwards, a revolution was underway in the Isère Valley, as it was throughout France. As industry and the economy grew, so did daily life, social relations, and agriculture: ever faster, more productive, and more modern! Work became mechanized, and machines even entered homes: televisions, washing machines, telephones, and more.
To explore this transition, dubbed the "Silent Revolution" in the agricultural world, the exhibition draws on objects and images from the period. With the collaboration of the Azimuts art collective, the exhibition incorporates photographs and sound and video recordings giving voice to local people. Works by visual artist Joris Loye, composed of old tools, punctuate the tour in an unusual way. Displays adapted for young audiences offer a playful approach to the exhibition's theme.
