Concert as part of Christmas at the museum, by the De Caelis Ensemble.

This program brings to life the female voices from two great medieval monasteries: Disibodenberg, in Germany in the 12th century, and Las Huelgas, in Spain in the 13th and 14th centuries.
Oscillating between the mystical monody of Hildegard of Bingen and the flamboyant polyphonies of the Las Huelgas manuscript, the De Caelis ensemble explores the spiritual dimension and fervor of female song.
