Exhibition "Memory and History of the village of St-André-en-Royans"
30 years of archival research to create, with the help of the inhabitants, the MEMORY, the small and Great History of this village.
History of heritage trails, from the 140 houses in 1700!

An exhibition showcasing 28 years of archival research, created with the help of local residents, to preserve the memory of the village's history, both big and small. It features important documents about the school, its history since 1750 in the village, its teachers, its pupils from the 1800s and 1900s to the present day, lists and photos of pupils from 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930, 1940, etc., the school buildings, the canteen and its cooks since its creation, and more.
Archaeological history theme of the buildings cleaned and repointed in the village, in particular the communal building near the church.
"Genealogy" of the 140 stone houses from 1700 to 2000 based on the "Parcellaire", a written land registry, with the names of the owners from 1700 to 2000.
Old recipes, trees, plants and gardens...etc.
History of the 5 heritage circuits, current hiking circuits.
Since Covid, I have been writing the Heritage-themed Gazettes (to be read on the association's website www.amis-st-andre.com)
