Museum Overview

Pretty little chapel in the woods

Along the way, don't miss the Saint-Alban Chapel, nestled in the heart of the woods. Built in 1662 and a place of pilgrimage until 1939, the chapel stands near a spring that locals from neighboring villages would call upon to cure fevers. Raised in 1832, the building was decorated with trompe-l'œil paintings which, like the chapel itself, have recently undergone a complete restoration.
