The first edition of the Cani Trace des Chambaran will take place on November 7th and 8th, 2026 at the Dionay pond, in the commune of Roybon. This new sporting and friendly event is dedicated to canine traction disciplines and brings together competitors, enthusiasts, and curious onlookers in an exceptional natural setting in the heart of the Chambaran region.

The program includes canicross, caniVTT, caniscootering, and dog karting events on 5km and 9km courses, as well as a 2,3km children's race. Competitions are open to single dogs as well as small and large dog teams.

A 20km hike is also offered to those practicing cani-VTT, caniscoottinette, kart à chiens or quad.

Spectators are welcome throughout the weekend. For safety and the smooth running of the events, dogs accompanying visitors must be kept on a leash and away from the courses so as not to distract or hinder the dogs competing.
