Brown
Museum Overview
Producer of pork and artisanal charcuterie offered for direct sale, with autonomous pig breeding and processing of cuts on the farm.
SCEA Brun is a family farm specializing in pig breeding and meat processing in Saint-Sauveur, associated with the producers' store "Au Palais Fermier" in Chatte.
After taking over the family farm in 2003, David Brun developed a direct sales business integrating pig farming and processing. The pigs are fed with cereals produced on the farm (corn, wheat, barley, peas and sunflower) and raised for between 7 and 10 months, guaranteeing complete traceability of the product from farm to sale.
The production offered covers a wide range of fresh pork cuts (roast, tenderloin, stir-fry, ribs, escalopes, etc.), sausages according to the season, different types of sausages, cooked and raw ham, as well as traditional charcuterie products such as country pâtés or pâtés en croûte.
These products are available in the delicatessen section of the collective store "Au Palais Fermier", where SCEA Brun participates in promoting local produce through short supply chains, to individuals, butchers and restaurateurs.
