La Bicoque - Treehouse

Museum Overview

A unique treehouse nestled in the heart of our educational farm, surrounded by 40 hectares of wildlife, permaculture, and small livestock. Ideal for a peaceful, starry night or a sunny day by the river.

Raised three meters above the ground on stilts, the Bicoque gives us wings but not vertigo! The cabin stands alone in the midst of tranquility, with no caravan or yurt facing each other, but several hectares all yours, just a few meters from the river.
It is suitable for both sporty minds and lazy souls.
Sleeping in our cabin means relaxing in a wild and unspoiled setting. It means being able to visit our farm where we raise goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and pigeons, and enjoying our local produce and homemade preserves. Finally, it's enjoying the river to cool off and fish, climb the surrounding cliffs, and walk the trails.

It is built from local wood by local craftsmen, it respects the architecture of the Vercors cliffs, it is lit by solar energy and offers reasonable water consumption: limited drinking water reserve and dry toilets.

Equipements:
Kitchen area with gas hob and refrigerator for preparing simple meals and a herbal tea before going to bed.
Drinking water supply, sink and all the utensils needed for a good evening.
Lounge area with removable table for a warm dinner or a wild game of cards.
Secure covered and uncovered terraces.
Easy access via a pretty wicker woven footbridge.
Solar powered light indoors and outdoors.
Cigarette lighter socket with USB port for charging phone batteries

Convenience:
Dry toilet in the cabin with light, window and reading
Solar shower outside, a few meters from the cabin

Educational farm and numerous farm animals, farm products (walnut oil, apple juice, chestnut cream, jams), hiking departures on site.
