Le Grand Séchoir is an essential place to discover the secrets of an extraordinary fruit: the Grenoble walnut!
Located in the heart of the Isère walnut grove in Vinay, in an old rehabilitated farm, the museum space showcases the richness of the land of walnuts: tales and legends, traditional know-how and the profession of walnut producer today hui; gastronomy and heritage through the architecture of nut dryers.
At the heart of the museum, a play area invites young and old to dream and look at walnuts in an offbeat way.
New: Escape game "THE LEGEND OF THE GOLDEN WALNUTS": game recommended for ages 14 and up which will immerse you in the world of witchcraft for a fun (re)discovery of the Grand Séchoir.
