As part of the food transition month, the Couvent des Carmes invites you to experience a tasty weekend. Screening, round table, local producers' market, visits, workshop, show for young audiences... a real program with great touches!
- Saturday November 2:
at 18:30 p.m.: official inauguration of the apple festival
at 20 p.m.: Film debate. Screening of the film "The Boxer Theory", a film by Nathanaël Coste, agriculture facing the climate challenge, followed by a round table hosted by the Vercors Regional Natural Park.
Heat waves, droughts, late frosts or pests, the climate is disrupting and our agriculture must branch out... Yes, but towards where? Nathanaël Coste investigates the Drôme valley to understand how farmers adapt, while questioning the food resilience of our territories.
- Sunday November 3:
All day from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m.:
Local farmers' market. In partnership with the Vercors Regional Natural Park and the support of the Sud-Grésivaudan Territorial Committee.
Stand of the Les Fruits Recovered association, presentation of the different varieties of apples from the orchard and pressing of apple juice.
Activities with the Cuisine et Plaisir en Royans association. Apple products, demonstrations and tastings.
Open all day of the honey garden of the Miellerie des Coulmes (1 km from the Carmes Convent / 10 min walk).
Bat nest box manufacturing workshop led by the MFR de Chatte.

Thematic reading corner offered by the Pass'thèque network
at 11 a.m. and 14:30 p.m.: Visit to the conservatory orchard by the Les Fruits Rédiscovers association. Bring good shoes.
at 15 p.m.: Pom’pomme, musical show for young audiences
In a world full of sweetness, sensitivity and mischief, come and listen to the story of some very extraordinary apples in music and songs.
A light and musical sensory show created for young audiences aged 1 and up, followed by a workshop and wooden games on the theme of apples and discovery of the books that inspired the show.
