Cinema screenings for everyone, adapted for people with disabilities.

The goal of Ciné-Relax is to allow everyone, with or without a disability, to experience a movie in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Creating this "protective" environment involves a few small adjustments to accommodate viewers who, due to their disability, often encounter difficulties accessing cultural activities:
• A slightly brighter room, to avoid complete darkness and provide a reassuring environment.
• A lower sound volume for the film in order to limit excessively intense auditory stimuli.
• The absence of advertisements and trailers, to avoid waiting times and distractions.
• A trained reception team is present to ensure a warm and personalized welcome.

Programming in progress

To ensure that the entrance fee is not a deterrent, the Ciné-relax sessions will be offered at a single, reduced price of €5.50 for everyone.

For people with reduced mobility, reservation is mandatory with the cinema at 04 76 38 65 93, in order to facilitate access.


Ciné-relax is an initiative of the local mental health council of Saint-Marcellin Vercors Isère community.
It is supported by the Culture relax association, the Méliès cinema, the city of Saint-Marcellin and the Saint-Marcellin Vercors Isère community.
