It was in 2017 that this couple changed course and made a big decision by buying the bar in this charming village, located at the foot of the Vercors, along the national road between Grenoble and Valence. Although Lilian had always dreamed of running a village establishment, taking the plunge didn't happen on a whim... Did it click? A conversation with Martine, former owner of the café, which she held for many years with her husband, during those hours of glory. She detected in Lilian, a native of Cognin les Gorges, the ideal person to restore the values ​​of yesteryear to this village business. From that moment, the idea germinated and made its way, and it was after a few thoughts that Nathalie made the decision to follow him, the children having grown up and gained their independence. All the conditions now met, so the time had come for this couple to embark on the adventure! A successful change of life, which took advantage of Nathalie and Lilian's sense of business and enthusiasm, making Bashop's a place of meeting and exchange between the inhabitants, but also a pleasant break for people passing through. .
A refreshing reward for an excursion to the heart of the Nan gorges or to the village of Malleval, or a simple gourmet break during a walk between old stones and walnut fields through the village, a stop at Bashop's ensures that you end your day on a pleasant and sympathetic note.
Each season will bring you a changing landscape on the Vercors and a particular atmosphere. In fine weather, you will appreciate the mountain panorama and the waltz of hikers and holidaymakers, while sipping a drink on the terrace. When the cold returns, you will daydream in front of the snowy landscape, in a warm atmosphere, a comforting hot chocolate in your hands.
Every lunchtime, you can take advantage of Nathalie's culinary talents to treat yourself to a dish of the day or a homemade dessert. His speciality ? Italian classics such as schnitzel Milanese, eggplant parmigiana, arancini (if you want to know what those are, head to Bashop's!). For good measure and to add his grain of salt, Lilian, as a former butcher, offers you good cuts of meat, highlighted by Nathalie, behind the stoves and also served in the lunchtime fast food formulas. To enjoy it in the evening, remember to book!

And if you prefer to receive your guests at home, you can order takeaway meals (pies, tabbouleh, etc.).
