Museum Overview

Interactive, fun and educational, the Water Museum invites you on an aquatic journey to discover the fundamental element of life on Earth: WATER!

Located in the heart of Pont en Royans, voted the most beautiful village in Isère in 2021, the Water Museum is a unique space dedicated to the scientific, ecological and planetary issues of that which gave its color to the earth and which shaped the Alpine massif: Water.

Each visit ends with a unique water tasting led by our three water tasters who will reveal to you all the differences between mineral waters and spring waters but also between fatty, dry, pearly, sparkling and even the wet ones…

In 2022, the Water Museum celebrated its 20th anniversary. For many years, the Water Museum has offered temporary and permanent exhibitions as well as activities dedicated to the vital heritage of humanity: WATER.
