The Gaffe footbridge

Presentation

At the foot of the Vercors, this family hike goes smoothly to the Gaffe footbridge in the majestic Drevenne gorges.

From the departure panel "Saint Gervais" at the exit of the village, reach the town center. At the height of the church, turn right into the rue de l'ancienne poste. After crossing the two hairpin bends, continue 100 m on the road. At the directional post, turn right on the way up, following the path. At the exit of the latter, take the road and continue to the right at the crossroads.
Arrived at "Pierre Mouton", continue to the right while staying on the road. The route runs along a walnut plantation on the right. After reaching the “Réservoir de la Gabouille”, continue to climb. Go past the houses, turn right on the path to a track. Take it downhill to “Le Moléron”. At the crossroads, continue to the right in the direction of “La Passerelle de la Gaffe” by taking the flat Chemin de la Gaffe. The track leads to the Drevenne river. Cross it by taking the Gaffe footbridge to reach a track on the other bank. Take it downhill along the river until you reach the houses.
Cross the hamlet and follow the gravel track to the right to reach “Le Rez”. Continue to the right on the road passing “Le pont de la Drevenne”. Cross it then, at the crossroads, turn right, passing the houses. Continue on the road to reach an intersection “Under the rock”. Continuing on the road uphill, reach the “Réservoir de la Gabouille”. In the hairpin bend, leave it to continue on the stony track uphill.
Return to the “Reservoir de la Gabouille” by the same route as the outward journey.
