Presentation

Come and learn about the research and then the cleaning and identification of fossils and better understand past ecosystems.

During a field trip, we will first learn to locate ourselves on the spot in order to orient ourselves towards the fossiliferous levels. On site, we will learn to differentiate a fossil from a simple pebble and we can even recover some specimens in order to identify them.
In the workshop, we will use various cleaning tools such as the micro-chisel or the milling machine, in order to clean the fossils and better reveal their secrets and be able to identify them.
