Autrans-Méaudre, in the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park

Only an hour's drive from our territory, Autrans and Méaudre are two neighboring villages forming the new commune of Autrans-Méaudre within the Vercors Regional Natural Park. A resort that is characterized by its friendliness and authentic mountain village life.

To get there, we had the chance to take the mythical road of the Bourne gorges, in the direction of the gorges of Méaudret then Autrans.

Close to home and already fans of Autrans for its alpine ski slopes and hiking trails, we have chosen this destination again for the Easter holidays to combine fun, discovery and a breath of fresh air!

What is speed luge?

Open all year round, the first 4-season luge in the Isère department will offer you life-size sensations.

Weaving between the fir trees and with an unobstructed view of the Autrans-Méaudre valley, the 1,3 kilometer toboggan run on rails satisfies both thrill seekers and nature lovers. From the top of Claret, everyone descends the 25% slope in complete safety at their own pace. Sensations close to a big 8: in places, the toboggan rises 5 meters above the ground and can spin up to 40 km/h!

Our Speed Luge Vercors experience

Not really a fan of thrill rides, I nevertheless loved tobogganing on rails and the emotions it provides. We are well supervised by a listening team and we know that we are going down the slope in complete safety. I was amazed by the setting of the activity and the panorama at the start of the climb. The little extra: the souvenir photo at the end!

We had a great family time with Jade. With an 11-year-old child who wants to manage the braking, chills and laughter guaranteed! Even if after the 6 descents, we tend not to brake anymore: “full, full, full Mum! ".

We will come back with pleasure!

A “trendy” activity for the whole family

Accessible to everyone from 4 years old, the tree climbing course offers 110 workshops, including 15 zip lines, spread over 5 courses: kids, green, blue, red and black. Thanks to the courses in the trees, the footbridges and the bridges, young and old children will have the choice between climbing, jumping, throwing themselves into the void, in short, having fun during this playful and fun activity to share with the family, between friends or colleagues.

Vercors Aventure also offers many other activities supervised by instructors holding a State Diploma: hiking, mountain biking, caving, canyoning, climbing, via corda, via ferrata, stays and nature and mountain sporting events.

Our experience of the tree climbing course

Big thumbs up for this complete course! We loved taking ourselves for Tarzan for an afternoon, we appreciated the advice of the instructors and the setting of the place: the Banc de l'Ours site. In short, a great adventure perched in the trees that we will surely renew for Jade's 12th birthday!

“Great activity, we had a good laugh. I really loved the zip lines which were very long. We had a family picnic near the park in a quiet environment with a beautiful view of Autrans and the Speed Luge Vercors. The carabiner system is great. The courses were cool and varied. I did the green, blue and red courses. I did not dare to venture on the black course. Top initiation with the instructor. I really had a blast. I felt like I was free. I climbed, jumped, I threw myself into the void. Secure place and sensations at the rendezvous, plus the staff is super friendly! »
