Delve into the past and bring history to life with our interactive Prehistory workshops, designed to captivate the curious minds of children and young people.

The Museum, with its dedicated cultural mediators, offers a fascinating dive into the world of prehistory through a variety of engaging workshops suitable for groups of children of all ages. Whether you are a school looking for an enriching educational experience or a youth structure wishing to offer unforgettable activities to your group of children, we offer interactive workshops, at the museum or at your place of stay, specially designed to stimulate the imagination and awaken curiosity.

Making Fire: Explore the mysteries of fire control with an interactive demonstration and hands-on experience of lighting fire using percussion and friction. Students will have the opportunity to handle the equipment and master the ancestral technique of lighting a fire.

Prehistoric Artist: Immerse yourself in the art of Prehistory by creating a necklace using natural materials. Sculpture, drilling and engraving of stone pendants, creation and ocher painting of wooden and clay beads allow students to develop their creativity while discovering the artistic traditions of our ancestors.

Little Miller of Prehistory: Travel into the past by exploring life in the Neolithic through the grinding of wheat, the preparation of prehistoric pancakes and the discovery of fire making. Students will have the opportunity to participate in all stages, from cooking to tasting, for a complete sensory experience.

Apprentice archaeologist: Immerse yourself in the world of archeology with a guided tour of the flint knapping archaeological site. Students will have the opportunity to become real budding archaeologists, by participating in a simulated archaeological dig and studying the objects discovered.

Prehistoric habitat: Explore Paleolithic lifestyles by collecting materials around the museum to create a model of a Paleolithic habitat to bring back to class. This activity encourages collaboration and stimulates students' imagination as they recreate the living conditions of our ancestors.

With our dynamic and interactive workshops, the Museum offers an educational and entertaining experience that leaves a lasting impression on young, exploring minds. Join us on a captivating journey through time and discover the fascinating story of our prehistoric ancestors.
