Presentation

Cycle of interventions proposed and led by Julien Guillon, scientific referent and historian of the Mémorial de la Résistance.

A Resistance Square in Grenoble? A wall, plaques, a bust? Presentation of well-known figures, or a little less so, from the Dauphiné and local Resistance. The mass graves of the Polygon/truncated lives.
This place alone brings together a multitude of memory markers which tell a story of the resistance of the Cold Lands to the Oisans massif via Grenoble. Women and men with unique journeys until the discovery at the Liberation, of mass graves located within the CEA compound – covered and not visible – including dozens of victims of the German occupation.
