La Trace is an association that manages the gîte des Ecouges, located in the Vercors. Its vocation is to raise awareness of respect for the environment through the discovery of the natural environment, immersion, and hospitality in the heart of nature.
Les Ecouges is an environmental education center which hosts stays for children, schoolchildren, training and internships, thematic weekends, family activities, seminars.
An Eco-lodge works in complete autonomy with renewable energies: hydro-electric pico-central, photovoltaic panels, wood chip boiler, solar panels, exterior insulation. In addition, the gîte is developing an operating approach that respects the environment: local and organic food as much as possible, waste management (limitation of packaging, compost, sorting, etc.), reduction of energy and water expenses (toilets dry...), sanitation by phyto-purification.
Educational farm and mountain vegetable garden.
One more asset, the laptops do not pass!!! Something to disconnect completely.
Namely: 20 minutes walk to reach the cottage.
