Museum Overview

Located in the heart of the Vercors, the Écouges gîte, managed by the La Trace association, is a true place for immersion and disconnection. Here, people come to experience nature differently, to take their time, observe, understand and experiment.

An environmental education center, Les Écouges welcomes children's stays, school groups, workshops, training courses, and family visits in a self-sufficient eco-lodge powered exclusively by renewable energy. Local and organic food, responsible waste management, composting toilets, phytoremediation, and an educational farm are integral parts of the project.
Today, the center wishes to develop more specifically discovery classes in formats of 4 nights, promoting a longer educational immersion and a real time for appropriation of learning.
Accessible after a short walk, and without mobile network coverage, the site invites total disconnection and an essential reconnection with nature. A committed, inspiring, and restorative place, ideal for learning by doing and experiencing a powerful collective adventure, close to nature.
