Charming loft-type cottage in an old renovated farmhouse where there is an old 1994th century walnut dryer, listed as a historical monument since XNUMX. It is the oldest known dryer in Isère to date.

The old village of Cognin les Gorges and its 1947th century church have been listed in the inventory of French buildings since XNUMX.
In 2015, the Gorges du Nan area, shared between the territories of the municipalities of Cognin-les-Gorges and Malleval en Vercors, joined the sites classified as Sensitive Natural Areas in the department of Isère.
At the edge of the Vercors regional natural park, the gite de la Tour is at the start of many hikes, in particular with access to the Coulmes area via the Gorges du Nan.
The gite de la Tour appears to be atypical because it has the particularity of being under the roof and of presenting a breathtaking structure.

Interior description of the cottage:
The gite de la Tour is located upstairs with independent access from the (private) garden.
With a surface area of ​​approximately 80 m2, it can accommodate 2 people (possibility of sleeping children (contact us)), It consists of a large loft-type open space on half levels:
- First half-level:
Equipped kitchen: fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, classic and Senseo coffee makers, crockery, etc.
Laundry room: washing machine
Shower room / WC (towels provided)
Garden furniture on terrace with open view of the village and the Gorges du Nan
- Second half-level:
Living room overlooking the kitchen by a few steps with television, convertible sofa (extra bed if necessary), reading area, office area, board games.
- Third half-level:
Sleeping area with a double bed (140x190) for 2 people with wardrobe and plenty of storage
