At the heart of the temporary exhibition On a Thread or the Art of Dressing in the Middle Ages, discover the sensitive look of Frédérick Yvan Manuel Gay. A plastic fan artist, his talent has been deployed for many years on this essential and historic accessory that is the fan.
In 2024, at the invitation of the Saint-Antoine-l'Abbaye museum, he created a unique piece as a reinterpretation of the medieval flabellum, this particularly refined liturgical object used during major ceremonies.
