Presentation

Come and meet the women and men who work every day of the year to produce our little cow's milk cheese: Saint-Marcellin IGP.

Registration required, limited number of places.

Christelle and Guillaume Ezingeard are happy to open the doors of their artisanal cheese dairy and their goat breeding to you. Their IGP Saint-Marcellins are made daily using milk delivered each morning and coming exclusively from the neighboring farm of Christophe Brun, a dairy producer in the IGP zone. They make Saint-Marcellin IGP with raw milk, but also Saint-Félicien and goat cheeses.

In 2024, we will celebrate the first 10 candles of obtaining this European quality sign, essential for the sector. The IGP, or Protected Geographical Indication, guarantees century-old know-how and makes it possible to anchor the breeding and manufacturing of cheese in a specific territory.
On this occasion, many dairy farms and cheese factories throughout the IGP zone open their doors to you and welcome you for a moment of sharing and discovery.

The visit to the farm and the cheese dairy will be followed by a snack based on Saint-Marcellin IGP of course. The Committee for Saint-Marcellin will surprise you with new forms of tasting that you could never have imagined.
