Presentation

Evening screening and debate on the theme of wild species and their reintroduction: the bearded vulture in the Vercors, in partnership with the Vercors Regional Natural Park.

Extending the restitution of the artistic education and environmental education school project carried by the Parc du Vercors in 2023-2024, the Couvent des Carmes and the Parc du Vercors invite farmers, experts, witnesses to exchange on practices aimed at the reintroduction of the Bearded Vulture which has benefited for more than 10 years from a reintroduction program in the south of the Vercors. Although it is possible today to see this majestic vulture flying over the cliffs of the Vercors, it nonetheless remains a species that is still threatened.

>> 18:30 p.m.: reception and free discovery of the creations of the students of the classes involved in the education project supported by the Park.

>> 19:30 p.m.: shared picnic

>> 20:30 p.m.: readings set to sound, discussion and screening of a documentary film in the presence of Pascal Orabi, coordinator of the reintroduction project for the LPO, Benoît Betton, Curator of the Hauts-Plateaux du Vercors National Nature Reserve, Luca Melcarne , wildlife photographer from Vercors, farmers (subject to reservation) and other witnesses and researchers in the human and social sciences.
