ELEVATION VERCORS, off-road bikepacking event to discover the Vercors and its jewels.
350 km and 10.000 D+ to fill your eyes and legs!
60 hours max :)

Our project is to offer a mountain bike/gravel event in bikepacking format. This type of test takes place independently. This means that participants advance alone, without assistance and
carry their own equipment.
We have traced a route in the heart of the Vercors of 350km for 10.000m of altitude difference validated with local stakeholders in particular via the Vercors en Partage approach supported by the Park and in which the Department plays a major role.
The first will take a little less than 24 hours, the last will have a maximum of 60 hours to complete the trail.
Elevation Vercors will be limited to 100 participants. No markings will be present on the route. Participants will guide themselves using a bicycle GPS.
All participants will be equipped with a GPS beacon to ensure their remote monitoring and safety.
Individual insurance specific to this type of event is included in the registration.
Particular attention is paid to the inclusion of the event in the territories crossed and the association's office is keen to forge partnerships with local actors on the trail. Respect for natural environments and residents is also part of our values. Our wish is to make Elevation Vercors a friendly event that conveys values ​​of adventure, camaraderie, sharing, surpassing oneself
of oneself and respect for the environments crossed.

Meal and briefing on Thursday July 4 evening at the L'Albenc village hall.
Departure on Friday July 5, 2024 at 07:00 a.m. from the L'Albenc village hall.
This village in the valley facilitates the arrival of competitors in gentle mode with the proximity of the railway stations.
Arrival no later than Sunday July 7, 2024 at 19:00 p.m. in L'Albenc.
A checkpoint will be held in the Vassieux-en-Vercors village hall, approximately halfway.
