TOURISM QUALITY LABEL

Historical shoe capital, Romans shone all over the world for several decades before being massively relocated to emerging countries. From the 2010s, new brands and new craft workshops have set up and have, each in their own way, revived this activity.
A strong symbol of this revival of footwear in Romans, the Cité de la Chaussure opened its doors in 2019 and offers in one place:
• A shop with more than 15 brands of shoes entirely made in the Romans basin, artisanal leather goods and accessories.
• Manufacturing workshops installed in this place to better cooperate together
• Visits to our workshops to discover our know-how

On the occasion of a next visit, come and discover our beautiful region, but also this essential know-how of Romans!
